Dook sweetens the deal

What do you know? Duke apparently really wants me to come to Fuqua. I just received an email from the admissions office informing me of a scholarship that they've awarded me. It's not a full scholarship by any means, but it certainly would soften the blow and bring the tuition down to a more in-state-public level.

This is great news! However, to secure my scholarship award, I will have to submit my enrollment deposit by April 5 now, instead of May 1. This means that I will not have gone to UCLA Anderson's admitted students weekend by the time the Duke deposit is due... decisions, decisions.

This may all be moot if I get a call from Mr. Derrick Bolton (Director of Admissions at Stanford) on March 29 or 30!
