Stanford interview complete
That was probably the most relaxed and conversational interview I've ever had. What a pleasure.
My interviewer and I really hit it off, and we had a great conversation about our lives, our careers, and Stanford. She, like every other GSB student/alum I've talked to, absolutely loved her experience at Stanford, which just further excites me about the prospect of doing my b-schooling there.
The conversation was supposed to be over lunch at the Chapel Hill Country Club, but I found it quite hard to eat and talk at the same time, so I didn't get to eat much. I'll have to go make myself a sandwich shortly. Also, at several points, her friends and neighbors stopped by the table to say hi and chat, which further added to the relaxed nature of the "interview."
She didn't drop the Stanford-standard "what is the last book you've read and what did you learn from it?" question bomb on me, which was a little surprising, but not unwelcome.
As we parted, my interviewer told me that she really hopes that I get in. Me too!

Hey, cam across ur blog from the UNC thread on BW. Hope you make it there!
We have 2 common schools: UNC and Duke. UNC wants me, but not so bad that they give me a schol. And Duke has WLed me. Ye, I belong to the now notorious 'Indian IT Male' pool! :(
BOL for ur stanford decision! :-)
